Electronic Arts Studios Europe includes award-winning studios Criterion Games and DICE (EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment), and EA Gothenburg. EASE (EA Studio Europe) Operations supports the EA Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront, Need For Speed and Mirror’s Edge franchises and is conveniently collocated in Stockholm, Sweden with DICE. Stockholm is also home of the Frostbite Engine, SEED, and EASE Operations.

What will you do as a Launch Development Director at EASE Operations?

You join the team reporting to the Director of EASE Operations Launch & Release Management. Our primary objective is to provide the best player experience, every release. We manage delivery projects from the EA studios in Europe. You organize planning, develop processes, and ensure ease of collaboration.

You document the plan and ensure accurate status updates. You support and guide project contributors in proper reporting and tracking. You identify when deliveries are at risk of being late and help get things back on track. You make project information clear and accessible.

You curate the knowledge repository. You organize project information so it is clear and accessible to empower the team. You manage the knowledge base of methods that achieve excellent player experiences. You secure project documentation and insights we gain over time so that they are easily shared.

You develop our process and supporting systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose and friction free. It is crucial that they are easy to access, create engagement and encourage contribution from all partners. You listen and evaluate efficiency to improve execution.

You guide our team’s process of improvement. You work with our team to improve the way we work. You lead periodic review and retrospective meetings with all relevant persons, and you create an environment where each person is heard so that all ideas for improvement are captured.
