The Challenge Ahead:
We are building EA’s Cloud Gaming system to run at scale. It is not only about delivery of games from the Cloud but also about bringing a comprehensive gaming to our users. You’ll be part of a team that bridge cross-EA services, build the infrastructure tools, and bring a unified user experience.
What a Sr Software & Systems Dev Engineer does within EADP Cloud Gaming Division at EA:
Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop features while taking into considerations aspects of performance and scale. You will have interaction with local and remote teams for cross-integration and ensuring considerations are addressed. The feature and system capabilities you’ll develop will have an impact on the way the system is built and the user experience. The system areas will include both front-end and backend services.

Responsibilities:
- Design features aligned with the product roadmap
- Develop primary components to bring EA games to multiple streaming platform providers.
- Resolve defects during QA cycle, and from live environments
- Migrate legacy components to new technologies
- Work with remote teams in different time zones
Required Skills / Experience:
- BS in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Over 6 years' experience as a software developer with the following expertise
- C++
Bonus Skills:
- C#
- Multithreaded systems
- Performance and tuning
- Unity 3D
- Networking protocols
- Vulkan
- Steamworks SDK
- Experience with creating/maintaining an SDK
Other Skills:
- Good architectural view
- Debugging skills
- Collaborate with remote teams
