E-commerce Product Manager

Job Summary:
The E-commerce Product Manager serves as the forward-thinking owner of the e-commerce digital strategy. Using a data-first approach, the E-commerce Product Manager will develop products and strategies to advance the e-commerce goals of Square Enix, manage the development and deployment cycles, and work in partnership with the internal development team.
- Define a product feature roadmap, manage the backlog and priorities.
- Lead innovation and development of ecommerce enhancements towards sales & revenue growth through the Square Enix Store.
- Lead projects from discovery to launch phase.
- Effectively seek out and share opportunities for conversion improvement and lead implementation through the development team.
- Leverage testing software and provide direction to development teams to make continual improvements in personalization and optimization towards a variety of sales KPI’s simultaneously.
- Complete market and competitor research to help define the roadmap.
- Manage timeline of project and communicate with all stakeholders about project status, risks, change management, and requirements.
- Partner with internal and external teams to design, implement and report on new pages, assets, and tools for the website.
- Manage internal and external creative and development resources on multiple desktop and mobile sites.
- Understand and implement core SEO principles on-site.
- Provide frequent and consolidated status of the project to executive stakeholders.
Skills - Experience and Requirements
- A strategic mindset, passion for innovation, agile responsiveness, conversion rate optimization, website testing and driving results.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency. Ability to think creatively and strategically, but a willingness and desire to ‘roll up your sleeves’.
- Passion for the consumer, ensuring a best-in-class user experience.
- Proven experience and/or desire to work directly with senior leadership teams presenting strategy and results.
- Expertise in online creative, website optimization, personalization and (re)targeting.
- Familiarity with general website development, optimization, analytics, and performance practices: Coding, HTML, CSS, SEO, Metrics & Analytics, Segmentation & Personalization, Tag Management, CMS, A/B/n & Multivariate Testing; experience with following or comparable tools: Tealium UDH, BigCommerce, and Google Analytics.
- Considerable experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related role. Bachelor’s degree required.

Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- Considerable experience working in ecommerce — agency or brand side
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and persuasive communication, and expert organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage several simultaneous projects, and work autonomously and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with BigCommerce, and other web/ecommerce platforms
Competencies, Skills & Attributes:
Essential:
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Experience with Agile development methods
Desirable:
- Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, and ContentSquare
