Aboutthis Role:

Information and knowledge sharing are strategic to improve innovation of games at Ubisoft. As part of the Shanghai studio, the Documentation Manager is here to organize information, documentation & assets so that anyone working at the studio can browse & access it easily. The Documentation Manager will ensure key content is written & up to date for everyone at the various teams and projects.

What you will do :

· Gathering team requirements regarding content & features needed at the different projects and teams in the studio

· Identifying & organizing key content. Ensure this content is formalized, structured, shared & accurate

· In collaboration with the Business Analyst, identify best tools to manage content (Confluence, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint…)

· Develop content templates in order to accompany users in their content creation process

· Develop taxonomies and enrich content with metadata & tags to improve content findability


· Defining workflows to ensure content is always enriched by the right experts at the right time

· Archiving & cleaning content on an ongoing-basis in order to keep the documentation workspacea used & useful

· Relying on user feedback, statistics and benchmark in order to improve the workspaces and the way content is organized in terms of arborescence, taxonomy, governance, etc.

· Supporting teams on a daily basis to manage more efficiently their content to improve collaboration & communication

· Defining the governance (access rights, workflows, archiving policy, etc.) and ensure it is respected and it is applied by all teams on the project

· Training people on how to create, manage & access content

· Lead change management processes to ensure workspaces and templates are used as intended

· Accompany newcomers in their content onboarding

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 2 years of experience in content or information management

· Excellent communication skills both in English and in Chinese (both verbally and in written)

· Good verbal communication and presentation skills

· Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with people individually and in groups.

· Experience with change management, good at getting buy-ins and onboarding people on your vision

· Understanding technical content

· Experience working with large amount of content & large, multi-site teams

· Able to lead discussions with users and ensure governance is respected

· Committed to ongoing learning and professional development as content standards evolve

· Tools knowledge: SharePoint, Confluence, Jira

· Familiar with gaming is a plus.

· Independent self-starter with a high level of agility and adaptability

· Experience or education as a librarian or archivist
