Summary
Proletariat is seeking a Director of Publishing Partnerships to lead multiple core functions within the Publishing organization to support and grow both Spellbreak and Proletariat. You will bring a wide range of Publishing and Partner Development experience to the team and connect with internal and external partners to drive success.
The ideal candidate will combine industry experience, strong project management and the negotiation skills necessary to manage a variety of partner initiatives. You have experience launching Games as a Service titles and have worked across all platforms - PC, Mobile and Console. You bring a depth of publishing knowledge, but are ready to focus on solving specific critical challenges for the team.
Responsibilities :
- First Party and Publishing Partner Relations: Lead efforts with platform, co-marketing and other core partners. Work internally across the Publishing and Development teams to ensure alignment with partner plans.
- Business Development: Partner with Business Development Lead to source and sign relevant partners to expand revenue for Proletariat and Spellbreak. Additionally partner with Business Development Lead and Production Leads to coordinate support studios, licensing agreements and technology partners.
- Global Ratings Management: Manage relationships with all global ratings boards ensuring that launch client and product updates obtain certification.
- Storefront Management: Work across Publishing and Production to ensure all platform stores are updated for launches and product updates. Partner with Product Management on store sales.
- Market Research and Business Intelligence: Build and lead efforts to map out market trends, future growth opportunities and present recommendations across the organization.
- PR, Event and Influencer Partner Management: Manage external global partners to obtain relevant press opportunities for Proletariat and Spellbreak . Lead efforts to identify global event and trade show opportunities. Partner across Publishing to identify and grow partnerships with key influencers.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of experience in Publishing within the games industry
- Proven ability to coordinate with remote teams
- Knowledge of both game development and game publishing best practices
- Experience launching and running live operations with free-to-play titles
- Comfort working at a fast-growth technology company
- Experience across console, PC and mobile platforms
- Passion for and knowledge of GaaS business models
- Experience with market sizing, competitive analysis and knowledge of key data analysis and interpretation models
- Ability to set data-driven targets for publishing activities and achieve them
- Collaborate with global Publishing leadership and team leads to develop KPIs
- Coordinate across Publishing teams and other key internal groups
- Collaborate with global Publishing leadership to ensure accurate product market fit analysis is being leveraged to increase the perceived value and quality of products
