Position Summary
The Director of Product for the Social Casino is responsible for the production and business results of all mobile games developed within their suite of games. They are the Chief Business Owner and Visionary of the suite. The Director of Product is directly responsible for the vision of their suite of games and is responsible for defining the strategy, developing the product roadmap, projecting and delivering the revenue targets and defining the KPI goals for each game within their suite. This includes ensuring all stakeholders are regularly updated on milestones, features, deliverables and overall suite performance in regular updates.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop Suite Strategy, Revenue Targets & KPI Goals and manage Suite against those goals
- Manage and direct the Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual and Multi-Year Plans
- Oversee regular Analytics reviews, adjust development based on Data and provide regular reports
- Work with the game’s analysts on continuous understanding of overall game performance and specifically new features performance. Use A / B testing as the primary tool for decision making and understanding impact levels.
- Roadmap Ownership
- Work with the Product Owners, the Product, Live-Ops and Engineering teams to plan the game’s feature, content and Live-Ops roadmap
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on Brand Management and UA spend
- Collaborate with the Ad-Ops Team on Ads, Interstitials, V4VC needs and Ad SDK updates
- Work closely with the Central Data Team on all analytics reports, KPI reviews and other Live-Ops or Business Intelligence needs
- Work closely with the Technical Director on all technical decisions (front-end & back-end)
- Directly manage the Art Director, Audio Producer, Product Owner, and Live Ops Manager
- Empower the Product Owners to develop their own project-based goals, targets and deliverables
- Develop the update & release cadence for all titles within the suite of games
- Manage resource/workflow distribution (with the individual Product Owners, Art Directors and Technical Director)
- Oversee product deliverables & quality assurance for all titles within the Suite
- Manage Internal & External Vendors / Resources
- Collaborate with key Executive Stakeholders to define “blue oceans’ for new game development
- Lead all Suite presentations, hold regular Production update meetings, and act as the “voice” of the Suite
- Release engagement and monetization driven features to create KPIs growth
- Work closely with the game designers to frequently release new games and content
- Work closely with the User Acquisition (UA) team to create efficient marketing growth
- Work with the data scientists in order to integrate new Machine Learning models - deep LTV understanding, churn prevention and top users identification

- Design: Director of Design
- Product: Product Owner, Product Managers, Art Director, Audio Producer
- Game Team: All members of the Product and Engineering teams
- Data: Director of Data Analytics, Data Analysts, CRO and Ad Ops
- Customer Support: CSR assigned to Suite/games
- Marketing: Product Marketing Manager, UA Manager
- 3 rd Party: Any 3 rd party developers contracted for games in Suite
- Agencies: any agencies supporting the Suite
- Executive: COO, Senior Leadership Team (CEO, COO, CRO, VP Finance, VP Engineering, VP Marketing and Director HR)
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on mobile game development experience
- Extensive Mobile game vision through live ops success track record
- Excellent understanding of the Mobile Game market (Platforms & Trends)
- Excellent understanding of different business models in mobile games today (including F2P, IAP, subscription, ad)
- Experience developing games with strong rapid release cadences
- Strong experience of Analytics Reporting, game KPI’s and Live-Operations
- Passion for playing Mobile games
- Extensive experience working with game designers
- Must be able to work well with others and to effectively manage others for executing result
- Ability to work independently, to meet tight deadlines under pressure and to handle multiple duties at once while staying organized
- P&L management, forecasting, budgeting
Specific Skills Required
- Experience with both Macintosh and PC computers required
