Job Summary
PeopleFun is seeking a dedicated and passionate Director of Product to own a portfolio of a dozen games that have millions of DAU and 40 million in annual revenue. Serving as the business owner of these games, you will report directly to the CEO. You will lead a cross-functional team of industry professionals, while also defining product strategy and roadmaps, actively evaluating opportunity areas and prioritizing feature development based on player impact.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the production, design and engineering teams to write product specifications, drive features through launch and understand metrics to make data-driven decisions.

Role Game Portfolio

Product Management
- Achieve 35 million in net revenue in 2024 with this portfolio.
- Create a strategic roadmap that prioritizes properly between all portfolio games.
- Define and implement analytics to gather quantitative insights.
- Monitor KPIs to identify trends, problems, and opportunities.
- Analyze competing games and provide relevant competitive references, including performance reports, tear-downs, diagrams, videos, screenshots, etc.
- Identify compliance and technical updates necessary to keep the games running and incorporate them into the roadmap.
- Collaborate with Applovin to identify and prioritize ad monetization improvements.
- Create and maintain a monthly forecast and communicate it to the CEO.
- Communicate high level plans, updates, and financial performance to various stakeholders including the CEO, your team, and the wider company.
Team Management
- Be responsible for the P&L for these games.
- Create a highly effective, efficient, and independent, multidisciplinary team of professionals to execute on the roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager in mobile games
- Demonstrated quantitative analysis skills with a proven record of supporting data-informed decisions using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau
- Proven experience with a wide range of business models and monetization mechanics, including, but not limited to, free-to-play and subscription business models.
- Experience managing a mobile gaming portfolio reliant on ad monetization
- Familiarity with A/B Testing including test design, execution, analysis and development of actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated experience making structured, hypothesis-driven product improvements
- Ability to deconstruct competing feature sets and understand the market landscape
- Ability to create financial models to forecast financial performance across multiple games.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, including engineers supporting various tech stacks (ex. Objective-C, Cerberus X, and Unity)
- Strong interest in gaming (casual mobile preferred)

- Excellent attention to detail and a strong desire to iterate and improve on processes
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage time and priorities, working with minimal supervision
- Receptive to constructive feedback with strong critical thinking and communication skills
PeopleFun provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this [CA based or North America based] position is $165,000-$215,000. Base compensation at PeopleFun is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
