Director of Operations - LATAMSummary
The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes, gaming industry standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many kinds of operational activities including Technical Service, logistic operations between the US and LATAM, and customer support. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business by standardizing the tools and systems used by the North America Organization while working with the sales team in order to meet common goals.
The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.What you'll do
- Communicate and prioritize sale's need to supply chain organization, in order to deliver company goals.
- Provide team leadership, shared vision, and positive communications to achieve the Arisoctrat’s vision and strategy consistent with the Arisotcrat’s core values and team principles. Build strong relationships and collaborative partnerships within the Aristocrat to understand the business opportunities and challenges.
- Establish a positive, participative, and collaborative team environment that inspires creative, high-performing, continuous improvement, and engaged team members.
- Responsible for attracting, selecting, and on-boarding a diverse and qualified team and determining the appropriate team resource requirements to meet Technology Services & LATAM strategic direction.
- Develop and monitor the business plan and annual operating budgets related to areas of responsibilities. Generates revenue through a paid serices LS model.
- Materialize strategies through plans, tasks and objective to team members.
- Ensure quality first Service on the field, with seamlessly execution.
- Plan and direct organizational development of assigned personal that he/she is assigned. Areas include technical training, customer service and business acumen. Manage large resources assigned and facilitate the assignments of staffing to the service model.
- Owner of the tiered regional service budget that includes approving all worked hours and expenses for the region; travel expenses, billed services, warranty work, and other cost expenditures.
- Develops service relationships with customer representatives and meets with appropriate individuals as the company’s representative in the region.
- Plans changes according to different countries in the region to optimize and customize operational model to fit within the North America Framework.
- Partners with Sales leadership to deliver the commercial requirements of customers to achieve company goals.
- Ensures compliance requirements regarding local and/or national regulatory policies regarding technical service for company products being reviewed by authorities.
- Manages and approves geographic corporate assets, which include but not limited to: regional parts inventories; company leased vehicles, cell phones, laptops, and other property.
- Plans changes according to different countries in the region to optimize and customize operational model to fit within the North America Framework
- Assess and mitigates gaps in the operating model to ensure compliant practices are kept.
- Overview logistics and supply chain operation to ensure efficient stocks are available in the pipeline. Manage relationships/agreements with external logistic partners/vendors.
- Ensure operational scaling to support growth of the business
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics
- Ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees, visitors and contractors within your area of control.
- Ensure all relevant sections of the Health and Safety Management plan are implemented and understood.
- Assess, review the effectiveness and consult with their team on any proposed changes of the OSHA Management System and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure accident / incident investigations are conducted to determine their causes and take appropriate corrective action as required.
- Ensure injured workers are rehabilitated and an early return to the workplace is achieved.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislative requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in handling gaming operations within an equivalent position.
- Knowledge of highly regulated industries in Latin America countries.
- Bachelor’s degree on Engineering fields, or logistic background. Masters degree preferred.
- Requires five years plus of proven results in the areas of Supply chain management, Customer service, Foreign trade, operations, or its equivalent with at least 3 - 5 years of progressive advancement in roles.
