We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Operational Excellence and Project Management Office (PMO) to join our team at Xsolla. In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, drive process improvement, and ensure successful project execution across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices in project management and operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for operational excellence and the PMO, aligning with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Project Management Office (PMO):
- Oversee the PMO function, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive initiatives focused on Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to optimize operations and reduce waste.
- Conduct assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to prioritize projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, facilitating transparency and accountability.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs to build project management capabilities and foster a culture of operational excellence across the organization.
- Mentor and guide project managers and teams to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success of projects and operational improvements.
- Analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, project management, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and driving operational improvements.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) and operational excellence frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
