Are you looking for an opportunity to work on a brand-new title with a team of highly respected game developers, designers and artists? Do you love digging into data in order to understand all aspects of our players’ action, identify pain points, and provide highly-engaging experiences? Do you enjoy solving challenging problems? If you want to turn ambiguous problems into solvable pieces, identify solutions, and communicate clearly with teams and stakeholders this is the role for you.

Our team at Stoic, 4-time BAFTA nominated independent video game company, is seeking a Director of Live Operations (LiveOps) for our next project. You will help us take the project from pre-production through launch, and into live support.

As the Director of LiveOps you will be responsible for helping Stoic launch and manage our upcoming live game. You will partner with the Game Director, Production, and Product Manager to plan roadmaps, lead and release post-launch content, participate in defining the game's future, and work with Community and Player Support to enhance our Live and Social presence. Additionally, you will partner with the Product Manager to analyze and report on player engagement and sentiment, plan new premium content, and analyze monetization performance with an ethical eye.

The ideal candidate has been in a LiveOps leadership role and has a strong player-first, ethical mindset. This individual demonstrates a clear understanding of player motivations and is able to lead the cross-functional departments (Design, Product, Community, Customer Serve) as a single team.
