Position Overview:
As a Director of Growth Product Management reporting into the Commercial Strategic Growth team, you will be embedded with one of EA's studio teams and tasked with building a new program from the ground up that crosses platforms, modalities and franchises. You would play a pivotal role in shaping the program's direction, and implementing strategies to optimize performance and revenue generation. The key responsibilities of this position would be:
Responsibilities:
- Program Vision and Objectives: Develop a clear and compelling vision for growth economics within our products. Define specific objectives, such as optimizing pricing, maximizing revenue, improving performance, and enhancing inventory.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including data scientists, economists, engineers, and potential users (studio teams and brands), to gather detailed requirements for inventory design and economics. Understand their pain points, data needs, and preferences to shape the program's functionalities.
- Economic Models and Algorithms: Work closely with data scientists and economists to develop and implement data-driven economic models and algorithms. These should optimize ad pricing, improve targeting, allocate inventory effectively, and address other relevant economic factors.
- Process Design and Architecture: Collaborate with Inventory Supply and Studio teams to design scalable models and processes. Ensure that the program and management tools can handle large datasets, perform complex calculations, and deliver real-time insights.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with Growth Tech PMs and data integration specialists to ensure seamless data flow between the inventory and relevant data sources, such as ad exchanges, demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and data management platforms (DMPs).
- User Experience (UX) Design: Prioritize a user-centric approach to the process and tool design, ensuring that the designs and execution are integrated seamlessly into the game and positively impacts the player experience.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: In partnership with franchise embedded QV, develop a comprehensive testing plan to validate the integration and the content delivery. Align with EA Certification on test plans and timing. Address bugs and issues as they arise.
- Compliance and Privacy: Ensure that the growth tech program complies with industry regulations, international pricing guidelines and collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any concerns.
- Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials to support internal teams and end-users in adopting and utilizing the growth economics models, planning and iteration processes effectively. Document the build and implementation processes for scalability.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Set up monitoring mechanisms to track the program's performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Feedback Collection, Experimentation and Iteration: Continuously analyze data , build and deploy new experiments, and assess the learning and user insights to drive iterative improvements and updates to the in-game economy.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed of progress, challenges, and successes. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update executives and team members.
Requirements:
- Experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager in the digital advertising industry, with a focus on growth economics, pricing, and revenue optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, or a related field. A background in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus.
- Knowledge of microeconomics, auction theory, game theory, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with advertising platforms and technologies (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, DMPs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and analytical mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliver results within specified timelines.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of driving product innovation and revenue growth.
- Knowledge of industry trends and willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in digital advertising and growth tech.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $162,300 - $252,600
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
