Role:
- Accountable for designing, building and maintaining a robust financial planning process and model, annual and interim period budgeting, and timely reporting (budget vs. actual, KPIs, etc).
- Provide value-added analysis and strategic support to all areas of the company, including for M&A and financing activities. Such responsibilities will be driven through financial risk assessment, the development, management and execution of the company’s financial strategy, and determining metrics tied to that strategy.
- Assist with day-to day operations and will work closely with functional leaders, finance and accounting team members to ensure the accuracy, integrity and timely reporting of the financial data, as well as collaboration with functional teams responsible for revenues and costs.
- Reports into the President/CFO
Responsibilities:
- Help senior management devise financial strategy and plan that supports company’s annual and long-term financial targets.
- Work with Executive team to guide execution of strategy, develop operating assumptions, establish financial models and forecasts and achieve targets.
- Ensure ongoing timeliness, integrity and accuracy of annual budget and ongoing interim forecasts.
- Establish budget and forecasting reporting tools for executive team and functional leaders to provide improved visibility and accuracy of business projections.
- Enhance revenue forecasting through ongoing coordination with operations and business development teams.
- Coordinate review of costs structure throughout global organization, especially user acquisition and SG&A designated costs, to control the spend throughout all functional areas.
- Utilize experiences and relationships to gain insights on key economic trends, industry and other external factors which need to be factored into the financial modeling.
- Work closely with Accounting to enhance integration and coordination of financial forecasting with actual results.
- Undertake cash management, manage investment and FX to support business operations.
Qualifications:
- Smart, self-starter who is hard working, analytical, detail-oriented and team oriented.
- Experience successfully operating in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with an active global M&A program.
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting required; with an advanced degree or CPA and/or CFA certification; or comparable experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience in corporate financial planning or accounting, including 3 years of experience in senior management role.
- Public company experience is highly preferred, with IPO and debt capital markets experience a plus.
- Proven track record of supporting revenue objectives, controlling costs and managing profitability and free cash flow.
- Strong competency and interest in gaming and ad tech industries is a plus.
