Director of Finance

CTRL-labs is developing a wearable neural interface for the wrist/forearm that allows creators to build revolutionary new experiences and applications in VR/AR, gaming, robotics, health, productivity and more. As Director of Finance, you will own all aspects of the company’s financial operations and strategy, including accounting, planning, and reporting; financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting; pricing and revenue projections; customer and partner deal review; fundraising and growth planning. To do so, you will need to have strong analytical skills, proven strategic thinking abilities, and a talent for building and communicating compelling financial narratives.

Responsibilities:

• Grow the company into a $1 billion+ business by:
• Developing, prioritizing and sequencing growth strategy.
• Driving in-depth financial analysis and modeling projects including pricing, market segmentation, investments, and M&A.
• Overseeing business development deals including contracts, financial analysis, and revenue recognition.
• Leading accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the company.
• Managing monthly financial reporting and proactively communicating findings and variance to the leadership team.

Requirements:

• BA or MBA.
• 4+ years of finance, accounting, business development, consulting, or other analytical work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity/change in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
