In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends and has since gone on to become the most played PC game in the world and a key driver of the dramatic growth of esports. The League Championship Series (the LCS) represents the pinnacle of professional esports in North America. The LCS is the 3rd most popular professional league in the US among 18 to 34-year-old viewers, trailing behind the NFL and the NBA. As such, the LCS team is a unique crossover between the best of sports, and the best of video games. Recently Riot has put the “s” in Riot Games, adding Team Fight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, VALORANT and Wild Rift to our roster of games. The NA Esports team is the group responsible for organizing, operating, broadcasting and telling stories around competition for each of Riot’s Games in North America. As our Director of Esports Content Services you will integrate and lead our broadcast, content and creative organizations, as well as our esports technology group, production management and live events. You will provide holistic leadership to our team and drive a consistent high quality fan experience across all Riot NA Esports content, broadcasts and live events. You will collaborate with the product leads to set the strategic direction for content creation and be accountable for its successful delivery. You're eager to create experience - whether on broadcast or in person, that thrill players and esports fans. You will be responsible for providing management, guidance, and mentorship to a diverse team and developing best practices and approaches to work as we launch and scale the biggest and most innovative sports products for our fans. This role reports to the Head of Esports for the Americas .
