Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

We’re looking for a Director of FP&A, Digital who will lead all financial planning and analysis for Wizards’ Digital Games business including long range planning, budgeting/forecasting detailed product P&L’s. This role provides key financial support for Digital Game product owners and the Senior Leadership Team.

What You'll Do

• Direct ownership of all Digital forecasting, planning and analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet, Revenue Planning, Long Range Plans, etc.)
• Embed in the Digital studios and become the primary point of contact for all financial aspects of Digital
• Oversee and maintain Digital product P&L’s, including communication with Product and Cost Center owners regarding P&L cost allocations
• P&L creation and oversight of all Digital studios including our Austin Studio and any studio acquisitions
• Create and maintain P&L’s required for meeting 3rd party development royalty calculations and coordination with Product owners, Legal and Accounting in calculating and recording the royalties
• Lead and implement tools needed for creation of individual product P&L’s
• Assist in formulating the company’s Digital strategic direction while ensuring that decision-making, goal setting and actions are aligned with Digital financials
• Develop and monitor capital expenditures, depreciation and 3rd party/internal development costs
• Work with various studio leadership members to create financial models for evaluating potential investments in new games or studio acquisitions
• Craft Digital P&L’s and analyses for presentations including Budget Presentations, Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, etc. while collaborating with all areas of the business to cultivate content
• Ensure that all financial submissions to Corporate are accurate and timely, and in accordance with guidance for external reporting of consolidated product P&L’s
• Analysis of Digital P&L’s including monetization and expense analysis as well as monthly financial and variance analysis
• Learn, apply and communicate Accounting standards applicable to the digital gaming industry throughout the studios financial planning and modeling
• Maintain financial integrity of all planning and analysis systems
• Provide financial input, review and approvals for all Digital contracts and agreements
• Work with many cross-functional partners including Senior Leadership Team, Finance and Accounting Team, Hasbro Finance Team, Digital Studios, Digital Product owners, a variety of Cost Center owners, Brand, Digital Marketing, Creative, R&D members and Technology Infrastructure teams

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in modern financial management positions
• Experience in PC/Mobile/Console gaming or software industry is required
• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA is a plus.
• Experience in creating product or profit center P&L’s and strong experience in financial modeling
• Ability to work at a detailed level and individual contributor while growing the digital FP&A group
• Experience leading financial and cross functional teams
• Proficient in Excel, SAP, Cognos (or similar planning application)
