Position Summary:
MobilityWare is looking for a Director of Creative Optimization to join our Marketing Team! This is an exciting opportunity for a leader interested in balancing their analytical, operational, and creative skillsets to drive marketing performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead research, development, and testing strategy for creatives across all MobilityWare games
- Refine a metrics-driven approach to iteration and localization
- Develop and embed clear operational standards to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of creative processes
- Work with the VP of Marketing and Senior Creative Producer to set clear targets for testing cadence, budgets, and IPM by game
- Mentor and lead a team of creative producers, artists and give insights to marketing managers
- Collaborate with other teams (e.g. Marketing Analytics, Product teams, Data Science) to bolster the technical capabilities of our ad development, management, and testing platforms
- Dive deep into internal and competitor data to uncover strategic insights, connections, and inform new creative development
- Coordinate closely with Director of User Acquisition to ensure optimized performance of creatives in scaled campaigns
- Take a psychology centered approach to understand motives, needs, and mental models of different audiences, setting the course for the team to test and iterate creative directions based on informed hypotheses
- Evolve creative research and testing processes and best practices on ongoing basis, with keen focus on weeding out inefficiencies
- Help marketing managers, producers, and artists prioritize competing needs with focus on quantifiable, high impact projects
- Build motivating and engaging systems and workflows that foster collaboration and new ideas
Qualifications:
- Proactive leader with ability to identify new opportunities and establish clear direction across teams
- Deep understanding of research and testing methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to extract, synthesize, and draw conclusions from large amounts of data
- Effective at balancing an orientation toward details with higher-level strategic thinking
- 5+ years of proven success leading an analytics-driven creative operation
- Very strong communication and articulation skills
- Proven ability to lead through influence and set direction for a team
- Keen focus on process efficiency with proven ability to identify and improve inefficiencies in people-driven systems
- Proactive and flexible with strong conceptual and analytical thinking
- Energetic problem-solver with proven ability to foster collaboration
- Experience with digital advertising preferred
