Director of CRM and Commerce Marketing - EMEA (Contract)

About the Role

As the Director of CRM and Commerce Marketing for EMEA, you will be a strategic leader, sitting within the EMEA Marketing team. You will be instrumental in step-changing the CRM strategy for the millions of Twitch users across the continent. You will lead a team of 2 across 2 separate verticals, CRM and Commerce Marketing. For CRM, you will work alongside the CRM Manager to develop local CRM initiatives to support local marketing content and EMEA driven campaigns, whilst also monitoring and reviewing current global campaigns to ensure alignment with the EMEA market. You will be an expert in deciphering where and how to deploy our owned and operated channels, inclusive of email, push, and on-site notifications. For Commerce Marketing, you will lead the Commerce Marketing Manager to develop strategies to both convert non-payers into payers (increase attach) and increase ARPPU on Twitch (via our memberships and moments products - subs, bits and gift cards).

You will report into the Sr Marketing Director EMEA, and will integrate cohesively with global counterparts in the US, notably the Growth Marketing and Commerce Marketing teams based in San Francisco. The role will be based in London and is a 9 month FTC maternity cover.

You Will:

• Lead the strategy for ‘23 of all owned and operated channels for Twitch in EMEA
• Lead the EMEA CRM Manager to manage the CRM calendar, content and reporting
• Lead the EMEA Commerce Marketing Manager, as we continue to scale in our Commerce Marketing for EMEA, driving adoption of subs, bits and gift cards across the region
• Scope out new, innovative commerce marketing ideas to test within the region, using insights to clearly size the opportunity and show scale
• Collaborate with our global lifecycle team within Growth Marketing to develop our lifecycle marketing capabilities internationally
• Lead and motivate individuals within the team
• Develop goals and strategy for both CRM and Commerce based on insights available from our reporting and internal analytical tools/central science teams
• Collaborate with global tech counterparts (martech and notifications teams) on improvements to our CRM platform
• Collaborate with global analytical teams to assist in streamlining our reporting across both CRM and Commerce Marketing
  

You Have:

• 8+ years experience in a similar position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise CRM tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other leading ESP’s.
• Experience in revenue driving workstreams to assist with driving adoption of our commerce products in the region
• Strong, proven leadership skills and highly developed interpersonal skills to lead.
• Must be comfortable handling large data sets and processing them.
• Knowledge and experience in setting up frameworks and tests from scratch.
• International marketing exposure within multi-functional organizations with varied regional audiences
• Experience working with consumer/media/tech/gaming brands with diverse global audiences
