ProbablyMonsters Family of Studios is developing 3 simultaneous AAA games in multiple genres. Since our launch in 2019, we have built 3 teams . Firewalk™ is working on a new multiplayer game to be exclusively published by PlayStation. Cauldron™ is developing a single-player, adventure-driven game and our RPG Team has a next-gen open-world experience in progress.

We are looking for a Director of Business Operations and Chief of Staff to the CEO, to drive operational excellence, delivering on strategic priorities while fostering a people-first culture.

- You have the ability to think strategically at a macro level and effectively develop key processes, procedures, and communications that facilitate business planning and execution.
- You have strong people skills and financial acumen, direct and clear communication skills, and the ability to build simple and comprehensive business review materials.
What You Will Do:
Business Processes and Procedures:
- Develop and improve processes to run the business efficiently.
- Identify issues that impede cross-group success and provide solutions.
- Identify opportunities to create cross-group collaboration and synergies.
- Orchestrate team design integration and facilitate implementation of organizational plans.
Strategic Planning:
- Lead the end-to-end top-level Predictable Excellence planning cycle to help the business focus.
- Establish and drive the rhythm of business (ROB) including quarterly budget meetings, next fiscal year planning, and core priority setting/reports for the CEO.
- Ensure coordination with finance and corporate strategy processes and timelines.
- Track cross-organizational performance against budget and KPIs to help connect the moving parts in a very dynamic and fluid environment, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Drive the evolution of the business through the simple and clear roll-out of key initiatives.
- Maintain master calendar for all planning meeting dates, deliverables due dates, and work backs.
- Manage all administrative staff to ensure timely, resources, calendars, and budgets are contributing to the organization’s strategic goals.
Internal Communications & Culture:
- Help champion a culture of respect, trust, inclusion, and accountability with the ethos of predictable excellence and gamer empathy at all levels of the organization.
- Partner with internal teams on corporate award cycles, anniversary celebrations, global morale quarterly events, training, and learning, giving campaigns, listening systems.
- In partnership with the internal HR & PR team drive internal communication strategy and vehicles including weekly newsletters, all-hands meetings, and key milestone monthly integration meetings for the leadership team.
- Manage the monthly update of the share point as the global channel across the organization.
Special Projects:
- Drive high-impact cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and ensure the team is achieving commitments.
Minimun Qualifications:
- 10+ years of strategy, consulting, or business planning experience in a technology or marketing organization, preferably in start-ups post-Series A funding.
- 5+ years of leading operational excellence juggling multiple, highly complex workstreams.
- Exceptional cross-group coordination at all levels.
- Strong analytical, financial acumen, and communication skills with the ability and maturity to influence across leadership teams.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multi-discipline concurrent work streams.
- Exceptional decision-making, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Works with a high degree of accountability, and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, MBA a plus.
