Tilia Pay, a division of Linden Research, is seeking a talented Director of Business Development to i dentify and research potential clients/partnerships, develop new relationships with prospective clients/partners and nurture and expand existing relationships. Primary Functions
Your primary function is to identify, research, and close revenue-generating deals for partners looking to leverage TiliaPay. Along with closing these revenue-generating deals, you will be expected to identify markets and approaches for additional revenue-generating opportunities. You must be a self-starter, optimistic and enthusiastic, and have a never-ending drive. This role represents a significant opportunity to shape the future of TiliaPay.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients/partnerships, make recommendations to Exec Team
- Develop new relationships with prospective clients/partners, and nurture and expand existing relationships
- Creatively develop ways for us to expand our footprint
- Collaborate constantly with stakeholders to ensure knowledge of product capabilities, regulatory requirements, and alignment with company objectives
- Create proposals, negotiate agreements
- Stay actively up to date on industry news and emerging trends, and make recommendations accordingly

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Drive tools
- Ability to create impressive slide decks in short time frames
- Ability to speak authoritatively to both technical and business concepts of TiliaPay
- Data-driven individual who can also make well-reasoned decisions in the absence of data
- Creative thinker with ability to map ideas on the fly
- Exceptional persuasive, verbal and written communicator
- Natural team player
- Entrepreneurial attitude and a willingness to take chances
- Seasoned in managing timelines, delivery, dependencies, communication across teams
- Strong product sensibility, and comfort with basic technical feasibility of partner integrations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic training and experience.
Experience
- 7+ years of strategy, business development and partnerships experience
- Work experience in fintech or gaming is preferred
- Demonstrated successes reflecting the ability to “grow the business”
- Experience developing first-of-kind, strategic deals which are creative and align business incentives with great user experiences
Travel Requirements
- Occasional; some travel to conferences or events may be required.
