Director, UX Research

We are EA—the world's largest video game publisher. You are probably familiar with many of our game franchises— Apex Legends, Star Wars Jedi , and Battlefield to name a few. You would report to the Global Director of UX Research to lead the UX Research teams supporting all EA Shooters franchises (Apex Legends, Star Wars Jedi , and Battlefield). You would ensure that research insights are being integrated by development partners to deliver outstanding experiences for the millions of EA Shooters players around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Create the overall strategy for Shooters UX Research at EA.
• Empower UX Researchers in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seattle, and Stockholm to have maximum impact.
• Advocate for the player experience and the role of UX Research with game development partners.
• Ensure that UX Research is integrated into game development plans to ensure world class player experiences.
• Ensure that UX Research is properly staffed to meet the needs of development partners.

Qualifications:

• You have an advanced degree in experimental psychology (experimental, social, cognitive), human computer interaction, human factors, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience .
• You have 5+ years' industry experience in research design and conducting user research across platforms.
• You have 5+ years' industry experience leading research teams including research managers.
