Director, Technical Project Management

We're looking for a Director of Technical Project Management with proven experience leading large projects across several teams. Responsibilities
- Lead a talented group of 7 to 10 project managers across different product areas within the PlayStation’s Future Technology Group
- Lead and drive programs while tracking schedules, milestones, and key results
- Align and plan longer term roadmaps with engineering and product management leadership
- Define and complete improvements to streamline project management processes
- Partner with other project and program management leaders on large company initiatives
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and influence in a matrixed environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Engineering, Business, etc)
- 10 to 15 years of project and program management experience
- 6+ years in a people management role
- Experience leading teams of project managers on technical projects
- Experience running multi-year, multi-team programs successfully on time and on budget
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc)
- Project Management certification (CSM, PMP, etc) or equivalent training
- Solid understanding of project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, etc)
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization (individual contributors and other executive leadership) to build strong and influential relationships
- Strong written and oral presentation skills

- Experience in the video game, entertainment, consumer electronics or technology industry
