Director, Technical Program Management

2K publishes some of the most popular video game franchises on the planet including NBA 2K, Borderlands, BioShock, Mafia, Sid Meier’s Civilization, and more. The IT and Security team build, monitor, and maintain our corporate and production infrastructure that our fans need to play our games. We are experts in systems, networks, cloud technology, and security. Our teams support the enterprise software and users that make the company run. The Tech team operates globally to ensure a consistent and exceptional experience for the entirety of the 2K ecosystem.

What We Need:

Are you a technical enthusiast with a desire to help define the way how 2K publishes games? Working hand-in-hand with Tech and Publishing Leadership you will help grow our Program Management Office with a focus on our internal partners. As part of the Tech Team you will partner with our game developers, publishing partners, and internal technology group to organize how our business is run. You are a highly organized leader who has experience working with a variety of software, and tech stacks. Join us to help prioritize our efforts, streamline our techniques, and collaborate with battle hardened professionals who want to transform the industry.

What You Will Do:

• Own resource management, and shape engineering solutions.
• Drive the organization of new and existing knowledge. Aggressively.
• Influence technology adoption through the 2K and our studios
• Collaborate and negotiate with partners on behalf of the team.
• Communicate cross functionally around the globe to ensure customer needs are exceeded.
• Lead a technical program management team.
• Be ultimately responsible for the end-to-end project service delivery of the entire 2K Publishing organization

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

We are looking for an experienced leader who enjoys in ambiguity. Ownership of your the discipline is a must. A successful Director in this role will enjoy exploring details, fostering positive communication, all while maintaining an eye on the overall technology strategy. The lead for Technical Program Management aligned with 2K Publishing will need to be naturally inquisitive and happy being a storyteller.

• 10+ years’ experience managing highly-complex, and technically-challenging projects.
• Experience leading people in the technology industry as a Program or Product Manager
• S. degree (or higher) in a STEM field
• Demonstrable strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated attitude with an ability to carry ideas from inception to completion
