Job Description Summary
The Director of Services Optimization will be responsible for driving operational efficiency throughout the Tech Services organization. The individual will focus on instilling best practices and building operational discipline to improve the customer experience and business outcomes. This role will participate in the ongoing development of cross-organizational partnerships in a way that encourages collaboration, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Direct a team in the analysis and optimization of the organizations business processes to improve overall performance
- Work with the responsible offices to deliver communications related to Signavio, Business process modeling, & ISO 9001 initiatives
- Manage team budget for staffing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams to challenge the status quo
- Accountable for the planning, implementation, and controls of all initiatives
- Support department leaders in implementing strategic process changes
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, employees, and internal suppliers
- Monitor and report on initiative status and team performance
- Educate team members and lead the way for more automated and data-driven decision making
- Support leaders in defining standards, processes, templates, and systems of measurement
Qualifications
- Thorough and practical knowledge of key business areas
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- 5+ years of LSS practical application and ISO 9001-2015 standards & requirements
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience with Signavio Business process modeling platforms
- A high-level competency in the subject matters of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC), SIPOC, Process Mapping, and Change Management
Skills and Capabilities
- Proven leadership in motivating, coaching, and training employees in collaborative problem-solving
- Ability to work with process owners in leading organizational change
- Proficient in developing mitigation plans, project planning, resource mobilization, cost tracking & financial updates
- Ability to develop and deliver executive presentations for stakeholder communications
- Team building and team leadership
- Influencing / negotiating / internal networking
- Effective written & oral communication skills
