Sales Operations (Contract)

Forte is seeking an exceptionally organized and diligent contractor to build our Sales Operations function. You will be in charge of building and evolving the sales processes, tools, metrics, and playbooks that make our Sales organization an outstanding function.
You have familiarity with multiple sales systems and tools, are structured, results-driven, and love to think big and solve ambiguous problems. You will report to the Senior Director of Business Operations and will be a key partner to our Marketing and Sales/BD teams.
Examples of projects include creating processes for the Sales team to move leads through qualifications and the pipeline, maintain data integrity, ensuring that all data seamlessly flows between the Marketing and the Sales Team, move MQLs to SQL qualifications, and report on all aspects of the Sales funnel.
You will play a key role in driving growth and business success across the organization. You are excited to gain exposure to a wide range of different problem spaces -- spanning tech/gaming, blockchain, and economics.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and evolving environment. They will be an excellent communicator and a leader with a passion for delivering results.
Responsibilities
- Build the sales operations function from the ground up
- Manage all sales operations activities including developing and improving the sales operations process, building account prioritizations, qualifying opportunities, managing forecasting, owning pipeline management and process
- Partner with the Sales/BD and Marketing leadership teams to conduct analyses and determine how to design processes to accelerate pipeline generation and increase win rates
- Track, analyze and report on key metrics (such as pipeline growth and pipeline potential)
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes
- Participate and represent Sales/BD’s needs in all existing and future sales & CRM systems, in partnership with the Director of Business Systems
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations preferably at a high-growth SaaS company
- Analytical and data-driven, with demonstrated experience finding data-driven insights to improve sales productivity
- Experience with a wide range of sales & CRM systems, including Hubspot and Salesforce
- Independent project management skills including the ability to define and execute against project timeframes, dependencies and risk factors
- Ability to think clearly, grasp the big picture, analyze quantitatively and problem solve
- Passion for developing, mentoring, and growing a team, with a natural ability to bring people together and spark collaboration
- B.A./B.S. Degree, MBA is a plus
Bonus points
- Prior experience in gaming and gaming-adjacent industries.
- A genuine appreciation for blockchain technology and the benefits it can offer the games industry.
- Prior experience with Airtable or Notion.
- Experience with sales/revenue tools to scale sales efforts (e.g. Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong…).
- High-growth or early-stage startup experience.
