Summary:
Over the past decade, Age of Learning products have been proven to improve learning outcomes and are loved by millions of families and kids. As a well-funded and profitable private company with a seasoned leadership team, Age of Learning invests in developing innovative education solutions to further its mission of helping kids everywhere achieve academic success. To date, Age of Learning’s primary business model has been providing subscription products to parents at home. However, over the past five years, the company has made significant investments in patented personalized mastery learning products that we believe can drive significant learning outcomes in schools. To help grow and scale our Schools Division presence and commercial footprint Age of Learning is seeking to add a Director of Revenue Operations to its team.
Reporting directly to the divisional General Manager, this position will work closely with our Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to develop plans and analytic strategies which drive scalable revenue growth. The successful candidate will analyze the market to recommend improvements to our over-arching go-to-market strategy, implement KPIs that speed our market penetration and assure that our field, executive, and board-level reporting accurately reflect our product’s market penetration potential.
Key Objectives:
- Iterate on improvement to our CRM, sales and renewal systems architecture, and tooling (field management, data validation, workflows & field operations) to optimize KPIs, targeting strategies and processes that will facilitate our growth
- Lead the development and implementation of reporting and data-driven decision making in areas like sales pipeline trends, renewals forecasting, and digital demand gen campaigns
- Further develop and manage a state-of-the-art RevOps technology stack which already includes Salesforce, Hubspot and ChurnZero with the objective of improving funnel conversion and optimizing renewals
- Own reporting and dashboard management that support the entire go-to-market team from individual reps to sales & marketing leadership to the board level
- Support the GM, VP Sales, and VP Customer Success in developing a RevOps roadmap that can support a $100m+ line of business
Responsibilities:
- Bolster all core revenue-facing operations, tooling, analytics, data, and over-arching go-to-market strategy
- Lead the acquisition, refinement, and presentation of data as it’s required by our Senior Management, Finance Sales & Marketing teams to enhance decision support
- Implement data to assess market penetration on a national and territory level
- Create, monitor, and manage revenue-facing data and KPIs
- Assist in the development of territory-level performance metrics
- Utilize metrics to drive sales and customer retention strategies
- Developing and refining product-line sales analysis to support the selling and renewal processes.
- Gather, synthesize, and effectively communicate market and RevOps intelligence with Senior Management
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA in related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of Sales and/or RevOps in a SaaS environment
- Experience with operations to support enterprise sales
- Substantial SFDC experience in support of management, including design, validation rules, processes & workflow rules
- Very comfortable navigating Excel/Sheets for the purposes of managing, cleaning and analyzing data (standard formulas, pivot tables, filters, charts, etc.)
- Proficient in presenting analytic data in PowerPoint
- Ability to track campaign KPIs through Salesforce and/or HubSpot marketing automation platform
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in an agile environment
- Independent thinker with leadership skills grounded in diplomatic communication and solid collaboration skills – able to lead or support as needed
- Self-starter: Driven to exceed goals, anticipate needs, and take ownership of key tasks
- Creative problem-solver who is flexible and solutions-oriented; can juggle multiple projects and pivot quickly based on internal or external stakeholder needs.

- EdTech experience preferred
