Job Description
We are looking for a Director of Product Management to help define, deliver and evangelize the next major release of our software platform experiences for our customers and partners. Our focus is on building powerful enterprise ready capabilities to support development of modern Augmented Reality experiences.
In this role you will
This is a complex, cross-functional role that requires executive presence to partner with executives, strong customer empathy and systems thinking, experience driving excellent design and product direction, hands-on technical expertise in understanding APIs and product integration, hiring and organizational building capacity, and the ability to inspire and motivate internal teams, external partners, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the needs of our customers to build products with great market fit.
- Create and communicate a compelling vision for the product to cross-company stakeholders
- Work closely with design and engineering to create compelling high quality customer experiences
- Manage ongoing trade-offs in market fit, usability, cost, and performance
- Drive project through to completion, providing detailed progress metrics during build and thorough, insightful analysis of results post-launch
- Define the roadmap, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, and execute.
- Manage a team of Product Managers, ensuring they have clear goals and responsibilities
- Provide guidance to help them excel, and constructive feedback where necessary.
- Build a work environment that draws people to the team
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of bringing compelling product offerings to market and leading high-performing teams B2B or B2C cloud experience preferred.
- 4+ years experience as a people manager
- Deep passion for understanding customer and market feedback and a passion and aptitude for rapid learning
- Experience in delivering Enterprise platforms and experiences
- Familiarity with IT Governance and Readiness Concerns
- Experience working with UX and engineering teams; deep commitment to customers and team collaboration
- Passionate drive and extraordinary ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and executives
- Ability to evaluate and discuss technical concepts
- Excellent planning skills – tactical and strategically
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience with agile development processes and frequent product release cycles
Education
- BS/BA degree is required; MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
