Director, Product Counsel - PlayStation UX Design & Console

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE or PlayStation) seeks an experienced attorney to support the cross-functional teams working on PlayStation UX design, features and and functions and our video game console platforms.

As Director, Product Counsel for UX and console, you will work with a variety of teams across our global business, including product, design, engineering, consumer services, the Accounts & Identity team, hardware and brand marketing, business development and regulatory teams that are focused on the development and iteration of user experience design and feature-growth on the PlayStation platform as well as our video game console offerings.

You must have excellent judgment in balancing legal risks with business strategy and a proven ability to act as an effective product counsel. The best candidates will have broad legal knowledge of the international laws and regulations impacting UX design and features for best-in-class video game platforms like PlayStation consoles and PlayStation Network and the ability to leverage subject matter expertise and senior leaders within the Legal Department to provide nuanced and informed legal advice to key elements of SIE’s business. You will use your drive and experience to make a big impact on a major segment of SIE’s global business.
