Job Description
We're looking for an experienced leader to be responsible for Magic Leap’s Partnership with NTT Docomo. This role is critical and responsible for maintaining relationships with Docomo and within the industry, identifying possible opportunities for future partnerships, working closely with sales, marketing and products teams. The role reports to the General Manager of Japan and is based in Tokyo, Japan.
Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with NTT Docomo.
- Prepare forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans that align with NTT Docomo targets.
- Manage the relationship with NTT Docomo.
- Ensures that the regional sales plan is aligned with NTT Docomo.
- Work cross-functionally with sales leaders, marketing, and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies and execution that align with our partnership with Docomo.
- Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations and quarterly business reviews.
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience working for international companies in a sales, business development or partner management role
- Experience building and managing teams in Japan; a proven record of recruiting and enabling top talent.
- Experience working closely with Japanese reseller partners must have strong local-market contacts for hiring and potential partnerships
- Strong knowledge of the consumer electronics industry, specifically within the Telecom category
- Start-up experience and culture
- Bilingual English-Japanese, with an ability to work with people from different cultures
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in a related field
