Your Mission

The HR Strategic Projects team is a Center of Excellence supporting Activision Blizzard globally. We deliver priority strategic HR initiatives within the Global HR Function and in support of our business units. The projects we work on reduce complexity across operating units, deliver new business capabilities and fundamentally improve employee experience. Current projects include acquisition integrations, Organization redesign and Process Improvement.

As the team authority in all things OD/E, you will have a direct impact on Activision Blizzard’s employee experience and engagement, as well as our business units efficiencies at delivering epic entertainment.

You will focus on initiatives that tackle key business challenges, helping set up new organizational units and optimize existing ones. This is an outstanding opportunity to build an OD/E serving as a strategic partner to Senior Executives, Leadership Teams, and the entire global HR function.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Provide organizational design and effectiveness knowledge and skills to our portfolio of strategic projects being both an adviser and active participant in those critical projects
• Provide a toolkit to your team colleagues and to the wider business to advise OD/E decision making
• Own planning and execution of any OD/E activity required to deliver overall project scope, working closely with project PM to identify dependencies and integrate OD/E work into project timelines
• Partner closely with business leaders, and HR Business Partners to identify OD/E initiatives that improve employee engagement, operating efficiency, and organizational productivity
• Support business leaders in identifying appropriate critical metrics for their teams, to enable effective monitoring and progress realization
• Work with HR Leaders to proactively address OD/E issues by assessing root causes and performance gaps and helping implement appropriate interventions
• Use data-driven insights that influence business strategy and decision making
• Step into Project Management, Organizational Change and any additional roles as the need arises by the project slate and team

Player Profile

• 5 years demonstrated ability leading organizational efficiency initiatives, operating model development, the design of governance structures, and/or organizational design efforts
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to capture audiences of all levels in the organization
• Ability to engage with businesses leaders to align OD/E efforts with strategic and long-term goals
• Ability to frame, structure and take on sophisticated problems in a dynamic environment
• Track record of using data and analytics to support recommendations with partners and build measurable results
• A high degree of adaptability and ability to navigate the organization across sophisticated and diverse situations
• Comfort with ambiguity; strong decision-making skills and provide well-informed solutions
• Great teammate with a roll-up-one’s-sleeves attitude, and highly developed sense of proactivity
