Summary:
Age of Learning is seeking to add to its leadership team a Director of Digital Marketing, who will develop and drive our digital marketing strategy and implementation to drive success of our expanding school-based (Mastery product) portfolio. This position works closely with our Curriculum, Product Management, Sales, and Brand (Research, Brand Growth, Communications, Customer Success) teams to drive sales revenue and overall profitability. This position will play a key role in product positioning and the development of our mastery product Go-to-Market strategy. The Director of Marketing will also drive, articulate, and leverage the organization’s unique ability to deliver value to the school’ market.
This position will be responsible for the development of a detailed full-cycle digital marketing plan, designed to guide all phases of the product lifecycle, from market entry thru and including expansion in the lifetime value of the customer. The Director of Digital Marketing will develop, define, and report on success of various campaigns through concise dashboards utilizing
Salesforce.com and Hubspot . This role will be instrumental to setting the course for Sales success and will provide clear direction to the Age of Learning executive team on all matters related to our Mastery product marketing strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, define, and implement digital strategy across websites, social channels, digital advertising platforms, email nurture programs, SEO, etc. for Age of Learning’s School Division.
- Provide ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns highlighting areas of opportunity and optimization based on data, including Lifecycle Marketing (national demand gen prospect and customer), Regional Marketing, and Strategic Communications (website, social, etc.) monthly.
- Guide the marketing database strategy to generate leads, drive conversions and retention utilizing personalized and timely interactions.
- Develop concept, build, and manage all marketing dashboards in Hubspot and Salesforce (and other tools as needed).
- Lead efforts to manage content in the CMS system and other digital marketing tools
- Participate in the assessment and deployment of new digital marketing tools and technologies across the division.
- Serve as the subject-matter expert in the digital marketing space for the School’s Team, remaining up to date with the latest technology and tools. Experiment with new digital tactics and implement based on the results. Research and benchmark competition to inform suggested improvements.
- Proactively manage communications with relevant Age of Learning executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Mission-driven, values-based marketing leader with experience in building processes and systems from the ground up
- 7-10 years of experience planning and executing a wide variety of inbound/outbound marketing disciplines, including social media (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn), paid and organic search, advertising, retargeting, email, direct and event marketing
- Strong web development knowledge with a focus on user experience
- Strong analytical thinker with proven experience leveraging data and analytics to drive customer value
- Superior leadership and project management skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with close attention to detail
- 3 - 5 years of HubSpot Sales Software Certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, IT or related field. MBA, M.ED Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
