Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Director, Legal & Business Affairs in San Mateo, CA to serve as the lead marketing and advertising attorney for company operations supporting the CMO and sales and marketing teams including brand, partnerships, consumer insights, product development, R&D. Requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.), or equivalent, and five (5) years of experience interpreting advertising and marketing laws, relevant Federal and State Court rulings and FTC regulations. Prior experience must include five (5) years of drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts for business units; providing legal support for sales and marketing activities; providing advice on business transactions, legal rights and obligations; providing advice and support for transactional matters including advertising and creative agency agreements, sponsorship agreements, technology contracts, film, and TV product placement agreements; advising on social media law including solicitation and use of user generated content, platform terms and conditions and rights of publicity issues; and, advising on FTC endorsement guidelines and dot com disclosures and contracts.
