Director – Investigations & Incident Management

Manage EA’s investigations, intelligence, and incident management framework related to criminal offenses, threats, misconduct, fraud, or any other act that has or could have an impact to our employees, visitors, players and or brand world-wide.
The position is also responsible for developing, managing, and implementing a business continuity framework, working cross-functionally with key stakeholder groups.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a team responsible for the collection and review of incident data, which includes confidential tips, direct or indirect online threats or bullying, risk assessments, risk scorecard, or any other as assigned
- Work cross-functionally to identify operational areas presenting risks, offering solutions for remediation
- Establish and maintain a globalized incident case management system, tracking all incidents by type and by region to identify risk-based trends, while working simultaneously with key stakeholder groups to improve security operations related to our employees, our sites, events, and players world-wide
- Manage the identification of trends, emerging risks, and insights regarding internal/external investigations
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with peer compliance team members and law enforcement
- Manage the preparation and presentation of investigation & intelligence findings to senior leadership
- Provide quarterly business continuity updates, aligning requirements to business needs
- Creates and effectively manages budget assigned to areas of responsibility
- Maintain a network of peer companies, vendors and organizations to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices
- Develop and coordinate satisfaction surveys to determine how well our services are meeting objectives

- Build relationships with E-Staff and business leaders
- Build relationships with WW site Ability to travel to all sites to maintain these relationships.
- Promote the Security function as subject matter experts within EA
- Ability to collaborate with other service functions (IT, HR, Finance, Legal)
- Ability to influence expectations and mitigate conflict
- Willingness to challenge status quo, innovate and introduce new ideas
- Understanding of differences in standards and culture across geographies and cultures
Professional Expertise/ Knowledge
- Investigations framework and workflow process
- Formal interview & interrogation technique (Wicklander & Zulawski or Reed)
- Industry best practices and metrics defining operational performance
- Law enforcement
- Business continuity and emergency management
- Protection of confidential business information and critical assets
- Strategic vendor management
- Knowledge of estimating and cost associated with various system applications
Experience
- 10 or more years in a similar role within a multi-national corporation
- Experience in some form of law enforcement desirable
