The Challenge
The North America Director, HRBP is a strategic business partner, responsible for planning, conducting, and supervising a team of HR Business Partners in the U.S. and Canada. In this role you will advise and enable your team to deliver full lifecycle and operational support to the business through a variety of functional activities, and Talent Management strategies. Your work will support and encourage the organizations growth and success. Must be highly motivated and organized, able to lead and inspire a team, and willing to learn from the dedicated and diverse team around them.
What You’ll Take On
- Acts as a resource and supports HRBPs in carrying out various programs and processes to support the business and leadership teams.
- Inspire change initiatives, develop plans, and lead key business partners before and after changes occur.
- Translate business goals and strategy into optimal People processes that are scalable, pragmatic, and adaptable to unique and changing business needs.
- Strategic leader with the ability to recommend innovative approaches and methods to drive continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and HR development within the company.
- Diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions, striking the right balance between speed/flexibility and process/infrastructure.
- Ability to influence, drive decisions and recommendations with data.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize effectively to deliver results both as a strategic and a hands-on People business partner with a "pulse" of its employees.
- Influence change initiatives, develop change management plans, and manage partners before and after changes occur.
- Effectively coach and mentor at all levels of the organization.
- Be a passionate team leader with a drive to create a positive work environment.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication, including high-quality document preparation and presentation skills.
- Be able to work autonomously, exercise excellent judgment, and be a critical member of the HR leadership team.

- In-depth knowledge of HR Business Partnering and other areas of HR with a minimum 7-10 years HRBP/Organization Development/Effectiveness/Talent experience in a small to medium, fast-paced, global company with a proven history of success in leading change and achieving results.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $140,000 and $210,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
