The Director of Global Talent and Employee Experience – Talent Development will be a team member on the People & Culture team and be responsible for strategically designing, implementing and managing talent and development strategies and programs across the enterprise. The selected candidate will partner with the VP of Global Talent, Employee Experience, and D&I to define the transformation roadmap of talent initiatives, programs, and technologies needed to achieve Aristocrat’s business goals and strategic objectives. This position will help lead the COE to execute on the enterprise talent strategy while also identifying innovative, yet practical, digital learning, capability building, and leadership development solutions that meet the specific needs of the business. The position requires a highly experienced and innovative People & Culture leader possessing excellent communication, change management, leadership, and project management expertise and skills.What You'll Do
- Oversee, develop, recommend, and lead key strategic and holistic talent initiatives across the enterprise, such as performance and talent management and optimization, leadership development, learning and development.
- Lead the optimization of existing and design of new strategies, programs and processes needed to elevate the COE’s capability to achieve Aristocrat’s goals and objectives.
- Design and oversee Aristocrat’s enterprise Top Talent and Leadership Development Programs, Performance Management and Talent Review routines, and Learning initiatives.
- Own reporting on all global talent and development initiatives and metrics to executive team and the Board.
- Build strong, trusted and impactful relationships with leaders, up to and including the corporate executive team, effectively managing/balancing cultural and organizational values to build credibility with leaders, managers, and employees.
- Partner with business leadership and P&C colleagues to build and sustain an inclusive, team-oriented culture focused on innovation, learning capability, effective talent optimization and engaging employee experience.
- Provide strategic leadership to assist with organizational change in conjunction with shifts in culture, strategy, process and structure, with a focus on effective communication, soliciting feedback and stakeholder buy-in, and training and managing impact to enhance the employee experience.
What We're Looking For
- A people first leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Performance/Talent Management, Leadership Development, and/or Learning & Development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience in designing and leading HR initiatives
- Experience leading people
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic plans and roadmaps to enhance business results
- Experience in effective communication, stakeholder engagement, change management, and adoption
- Strong talent, learning and development, and employee engagement expertise and experience
- High degree of initiative, problem solving, and effective decision-making abilities
- Ability to work extended hours to accommodate global time zones (may require early or late hour meeting multiple times each week)
- Travel as needed
