Director – Global Protective Services

Manage EA’s Protective Services in the areas of Events Security, Key Employee Security, and Travel Safety & Security helping to ensure the safety and security of our employees, visitors, players, and brand world-wide. This entails all aspects of safety and physical security operations including definition of priorities, allocation of resources and alignment of service delivery with business objectives in each area of responsibility.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for all aspects of safety & physical security for assigned program components including definition of policies, standards, and procedures, around the design and implementation of security plans for all EA events, key employee protection, as well as travel safety & security
- Must work cross-functionally with key stakeholder teams (internal/external) to identify, test, and implement risk-based tools necessary help protect EA employees, visitors, players, and brand in each areas of responsibility
- Work with “key employees” and their executive administrators to create programs that balance business requirements with individual security needs
- Identify “best-in-class” service providers for managed services in the areas of responsibility and maintain effective vendor relationships
- Directs coordination for all intelligence gathering requirements with internal/external resources to conduct threat and risk analysis for each assigned program component
- Develop relationships with key public agencies (police, fire) worldwide
- Creates and effectively manages budget assigned to areas of responsibility
- Audit process to ensure sites are compliant with security standards
- Maintain a network of peer companies, vendors and organizations to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices
- Develop and coordinate satisfaction surveys to determine how well our services are meeting objectives
- Maintains strict confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism

- Understanding of differences in standards and culture across geographies

Experience
- 10 or more years in a similar role within a multi-national corporation
- Extensive sworn law enforcement experience around large events and protective details
