What We Need:

Reporting to the Global Marketing Chief of Staff, you will be a specialist in cross-functional leadership, highly strategic, driven problem solver, and is capable of managing projects to completion while navigating opposing demands and priorities.

The Director, Global Marketing Operations will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Operations team and have an immediate impact on the team’s productivity by streamlining critical initiatives, and communicating objectives between departments across the company. You will have proven experience in a mid-level management role, with a special focus on implementing projects through interdepartmental collaboration.

As the Global Marketing Operations team regularly handles the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departmental areas of responsibility, you must thrive in highly ambiguous environments and must be capable of operating at tactical, strategic, and operational levels.

What You Will Do:

Operations, Project Management, and Strategy

Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Global Marketing Operations team.

Contribute to defining both the short-term and long-term vision and strategy of the Global Marketing organization.

Identify and take on large, often cross-functional and organization-wide, ad-hoc strategic projects.

Collaborate to ensure stakeholders are aware and accountable for action items/projects, and programs/deliverables are of high quality and completed on time.

Identify areas of opportunity and advise where the Global Marketing organization needs to focus to meet goals or revisit plans.

Ability to prepare presentations or proposals for executive needs.

Organization, Communication, and Resource Management

Help build a successful and balanced Global Marketing organization: support efforts to improve the org structure, find knowledge/skills gaps and help address them, recommend/design optimal workflows, and align/optimize internal processes.

Have a strong pulse and feedback loop on organizational needs, process rollout gaps, team communication challenges, and what is going on where at any time.

Communicate priorities, activities, and results to the larger organization, while ensuring deliverables are met.

Work with HR/recruitment team to streamline compelling job descriptions and assist with resource management for the department.

Work hand in hand with colleagues on the Finance, HR, and Operations teams to drive employee happiness, recruiting efficiency, training, facilities, etc. This role will be expected to balance priorities across different orgs.

Help facilitate internal communications, both within the Global Marketing team and the broader organization.

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

The ideal candidate has broad hands-on experience and a foundational understanding of multiple business areas such as: marketing, strategic planning, product and/or financial planning, organizational change, communications, and operational execution.

Able to comfortably dive into any area of the business or product, understand business needs, and help facilitate decisions based on changing priorities.

Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success.

Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.

Ability to develop good working relationships with all levels of the organization; work well with leaders/executives, and able to lead/influence across multiple levels and multiple functions of an organization.

Entrepreneurial, with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources.

Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.

**Management consulting or investment banking experience is a plus.
