Director - Diversity and Culture
Sitting within the President’s Office, reporting into King’s Head of HR, this role will be at the epicentre of King. The role will ensure engagement with leadership teams, and touchpoints with all Kingsters is consistent with business priorities and the company culture. The role will ideally be based in London or Stockholm and will collaborate closely with business leaders across the Kingdom.
The role is responsible for channelling the vision, intent, and voice of the President, ensuring that King’s culture remains visible and is heard throughout our business operations. The primary focus will be on DE&I, culture, communications, and events and the role holder will work closely with our central Communications and DE&I teams and will directly lead the King Events team across Stockholm, Barcelona and London.
The role will also play a large part in the organisation and facilitation of leadership forums including shaping agendas, preparing materials, and capturing outputs, with the support of the Events team and a network of Executive Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Be a change agent and driver of cultural evolution within King. As the business evolves design and champion initiatives to define it and ensure it is featured and evident in all employee touch points both internally and externally
- Execute on King’s DE&I strategy in concert with our central, ABK DE&I team. Critical to King’s business priorities, the role will deliver on existing DE&I programs whilst helping to identify new programs and partnerships in our continuous efforts towards maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment
- Partner closely with the Comms team to ensure that all King communications embody the culture and that the President’s vision is delivered effectively. This will include working with the Comms team on all messages that go to Kingsters, providing input on King- wide employee communications forums, events, and initiatives
- Manage the King Events team and its activities across the Kingdom, including all- company events, location- specific events, and team specific events
- Establish and manage leadership governance forums to ensure strategic topics are discussed and facilitate the leadership team in reaching outcomes as required in an efficient manner
- Govern the execution on agreed leadership forum items and action points and provide support as needed to ensure items are actioned and delivered in a timely manner
- Ensure consistent guidance and be an extension of the Leadership Team to the rest of Kingsters on current affairs and how this impacts the company
- Provide guidance to the Executive Assistance team to enable them to support governance forums, events and communications as required
- Support alignment of messaging and related material that originates from the President’s Office to a variety of key stakeholders. Including collaboration and alignment with Activision Blizzard colleagues, as needed, to get timely communications through approval processes and delivery
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be hands- on, super organised, driven and have strong stakeholder management skills. You are passionate about Culture and DE&I, experienced in coordinating company- wide events and want to make a difference and impact in these areas. On balance, you will see potential opportunities, but also be realistic in what can be done within time and budget restrictions. You will be comfortable managing senior leaders and have a track record of getting stakeholders to understand and support a vision. The individual should be able to effectively manage and navigate any conflicts between AB and King as appropriate, to drive initiatives and decisions forward.
