Your Mission
Activision is looking for a Director of Global Consumer Marketing to help manage and grow Call of Duty Live Services, featuring the critically-acclaimed Battle Royale; Warzone. As the gaming landscape continues its shift toward a ‘games as a service’ model, live operations and free-to-play gaming is the most significant growth opportunity for the Call of Duty franchise. This role will be at the forefront of building the franchise’s global success, engaging hundreds of millions of players around the world.
In collaboration with other leaders in the Call of Duty leadership team, the Director will play a key role in developing and driving key global marketing strategies and executions for Call of Duty Live Ops. You will oversee day-to-day management of creative partners internally and externally, helping manage the overall process of ideation, development, testing, and execution of global campaigns in partnership with multiple game studios, cross-functional and regional marketing teams. This individual will need to contribute at both the strategic and creative level to drive all marketing initiatives, interface with our development partners and lead agency partners, while having impeccable project management skills and a track record of leading and growing teams. Must be comfortable writing and presenting rationale to help drive consensus across all levels, including executive.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of amazingly talented marketing professionals to develop best-in-class insights-driven marketing strategies and execute effective marketing campaigns against said strategies for Call of Duty at global scale.
Contribute to global marketing strategy for Call of Duty Warzone, delivering plans that bring creative vision to life and drive continued growth with the Call of Duty community.
Work with Marketing Analytics, Player Insights, and Growth Marketing teams to develop global brand, digital, social strategies and messaging narratives to support business goals and drive revenue growth.
Lead the development and budgeting of creative global strike plans that deliver against product objectives and create synergy across a multitude of owned and paid channels.
Lead and foster a player first and player centric approach throughout the brand, ensuring we incorporate audience segments, behaviors and human truths in our marketing.
Leverage data-driven insights and trends that weave in culture, creators, and content to fuel growth among a digitally native audience.
Deliver innovative, new, and unexpected creative solutions that deliver key learnings and drive future performance. Develop, test and rotate assets for optimal engagement based on learnings across markets and audiences.
Act as a key strategic partner to a variety of internal colleagues, including senior management, brand and business leaders, analytics, publishing, development, and creative services teams.
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of demonstrated career progression and strong performance in roles of increasing responsibility, with relevant industry experience may include blue-chip consumer brands, digital platforms, consumer services, entertainment streaming services, consumer-centric subscription models, and/or gaming.
Fluency in all aspects of marketing with an emphasis on digital (incl. performance marketing, social, CRM), plus product, brand development, customer acquisition, and driving engagement through content.
Led sizable, international marketing campaign and campaign roadmaps, using market and consumer trends to define and execute on identified growth opportunities. organization that is responsible for setting and executing marketing strategy
Proven team leader and developer of people. Experienced leader of high performing marketing organizations.
Comprehensive experience in agency management across multiple disciplines.
Ability to flex between a creative mindset and deep analytical thinking. Data oriented in decision making.

Experience in navigating across multiple teams with strong ability to influence in a matrixed, global organization.
Operational expertise in driving best-in-class marketing projects from ideation to execution, with no detail too small to overlook
Experience shaping and shifting online communities and influencers
Excellent communicator in both verbal/written skills and knows how to craft a narrative
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably within business, marketing or related discipline.
