Director, Business Systems and Tools

Forte is seeking an experienced Director, Business Systems and Tools to design, improve and lead the execution of the Business Operations Team’s key business processes to maximize efficiency, focusing first and foremost on our Tools & Systems.
As the organization is growing rapidly through game publisher and developer partnerships, the Business Operations team aims to scale internal processes and continue its focus on operational excellence.
The Director will be responsible for assessing our current processes and building the right scalable rhythm of business to maximize the team’s efficiency as well as leadership’s visibility and decision making.
Examples of projects will include migrating our business development pipeline to an enterprise level customer relationship management system, coordinating business critical initiatives, designing processes for new verticals and developing an efficient reporting and communication cadence for our global business development efforts.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and evolving environment. They will be an excellent communicator and a leader with a passion for delivering results.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will...
- Drive migration of existing systems to new improved tools, with an initial focus on CRM/CLM systems.
- Lead Program Management for key initiatives.
- Design Processes that scale with business growth in volume and complexity and implement them across teams.
- Uncover areas of opportunity to improve processes and operational performance and drive change management with the Leadership team.
- Develop appropriate rhythm of business, standard business review formats and communication cadences.
- Develop documentation and communications for processes rollout and ongoing support.
- Manage and report out projects, status and proactively work with teams to remove project blockers.
- Take pride in holding oneself and others accountable to meet deadlines and a high bar for quality.
- Prioritize and execute in the face of ambiguity.
- Recruit and hire a great business systems & tools team.
Requirements
To be a good fit, you have...
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or other highly quantitative field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Operations Management.
- Experience managing 2+ direct reports.
- Experience recommending and setting up CRM tools/softwares/SaaS aimed at improving team efficiency and answering pain points, from early specs definition to full launch.
- Experience gathering business requirements, developing and implementing efficient processes, scorecards, dashboards and reporting to surface meaningful KPIs and actionable intelligence to leadership.
- Ability to think clearly, grasp the big picture, analyze quantitatively and problem solve.
- Ability to foster cooperation amongst business stakeholders and get things done.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present in a clear and concise manner to all levels in the company.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and adapt to a fast moving environment.
- Advanced skills in Google Suite and experience with other standard program management tools.

- Prior experience in gaming and gaming-adjacent industries.
- A genuine appreciation for blockchain technology and the benefits it can offer the games industry.
- Prior experience with Airtable and Notions.
- Prior experience with SugarCRM or Salesforce (or similar CRM software/saas).
- Prior experience with DocuSign, HelloSign or Ironclad (or similar CLM software/saas).
- Prior experience with Ally.io (or similar goals/OKR management software/saas).
- Prior experience with program management tools like Monday.com or Asana.
- Comfort interacting with C-level executives.
- High-growth or early-stage startup experience.
