We have a unique opening for someone exceptional to join the Motive leadership team in Montreal as Director of Operations, reporting to the General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- You will work with General Manager and the studio leadership team to continue growing Motive into a world-class studio
- Responsible for staffing and project assignments
- Oversee crucial projects with direct impact on quality, predictability, efficiency, and engagement of our teams
- Report through dashboards tracking indicators and recommendations
- Communicate and advocate the state of the business to Executives and other parts of the organisation
- You will support game teams with their needs, project health, best practices, and big milestones
- Partner with Studio GM to review product roadmaps, driving resource plan and assignments
- Work with our central partners, with influence to agree on approach and goals (Finance, HR, Talent Acquisition, QA, Analytics and UXR)
- Promote the professional development of your direct team
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of operations and leadership experience within games development
- Comfortable with priority changes and urgency
- Collaborative, empathetic, human
- An ally and promoter of Diversity and Inclusion
- Strategic, one step ahead, outstanding risk and conflict management abilities
- Autonomous but a team player
