Direct Manufacturing Project Manager

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a senior project manager to join the direct product manufacturing team in our Consumer Product Group. The direct manufacturing team extends the Blizzard Entertainment brands directly to our fans, focusing in specialty products and collectibles, mostly created and developed by Blizzard internal teams. Additionally, the team is responsible for creating exclusive branded consumer products featured at Blizzard sponsored events and conventions.

The position will work closely with the Director of the manufacturing team, product developers and franchise holders. The ideal candidate has extensive project management experience, is extremely detail oriented, excellent communicator, curious about how different categories of product are made, has experience working with project tracking tools. This position will report to the direct manufacturing team lead.

Responsibilities

• Production

• Collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate scheduling and project planning
• Coordinate, track and manage product developer schedules to ensure tasks are completed to required specifications and delivered on time
• Facilitate team and department meetings to research new projects and programs
• Assist the team lead with personnel, organizational and new project tasks
• Manage domestic and overseas suppliers
• Perform special assignments from team and department lead
• Process management
• Maintain and improve tracking processes and systems
• Review and route feedback from product developers across all categories
• Create and maintain production schedules for all direct products
• Facilitate timely and efficient product feedback and assets to various stakeholders and external suppliers
• Order and logistics management
• Maintain and improve ordering processes and systems
• Create Purchase order request
• Review and route invoices for payment
• Maintain and improve shipping documents processes and filing systems
• Maintain and improve compliance documents processes and filing systems
• Facilitate timely and efficient product delivery schedule

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience
• Expert knowledge of MS Office related programs
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite related programs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment with various internal groups
• Creativity and complex problem solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of product development cycles, project management, and performance management
• Ability to be adaptable in a constantly evolving work environment
• Passion for playing video games
• Bachelor’s degree in related field

Pluses

• Previous experience in the Consumer Product industry or manufacturing role
• Knowledge of one or more Blizzard games
• Passion for art, movies, storytelling and game development
