Digital & E-Commerce Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in E-commerce and digital strategy to join Rebellion for an initial term of 3 months.
We are in the process of defining our future digital strategy and we need a Business Analyst to come in and help turn our vision and strategy in to a business requirements specification we can use to plan and architect our new digital platform.

For 30 years we’ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, and Wakefield. Work-life balance is important to us, and we want everyone at Rebellion to work in the way that works best for them. Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst
- Previous commercial experience of working on E-commerce and digital projects
- Previously worked on strategic business change projects, preferably of a digital nature
- Experience of defining requirements around customer and sales data capture and reporting (CRM, Data Warehouse)
- Previous experience of defining requirements for a public facing web solution and working closely with software development and e-commerce teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and self-organisation skills
During this 3 month placement you will be expected to:
- Produce your own delivery plan
- Work closely with Rebellion Heads of departments, marketing and promotions leads and our E-commerce Manager, to capture requirements for the promotion, purchase and delivery of all of Rebellion’s current and future digital products and services
- Assist in defining and specifying customer journeys and personas
- Consolidate requirements from multiple business areas and challenge department centric thinking to deliver a single ‘Rebellion wide’ set of requirements
- Produce a detailed business requirements specification which sets out requirements in terms of what they need to achieve/deliver from a business perspective and the functional considerations of any future software solution.
- Liaise with the Web Development team to ensure E-commerce requirements are understood by them and any delivery challenges or legacy considerations are factored in and captured
- Present the requirements to the senior management team
