Dialogue Designer

Dialogue is the keystone to a character driven cinematic experience.

You will be part of an award-winning team. Supermassive has won a Bafta, several TIGA Awards, has been nominated for Best Audio Design at IGDA, Creative and Technical Achievement in Sound Design at the G.A.N.G awards and won Outstanding Sound Editing in a Game Cinema at NAVGTR.

THE ROLE:

Working closely with the Audio Director and Production Manager you will:

• Closely collaborate with the audio director, game director and design team
• Design and develop runtime vocal FX processes, human and creature
• Design and develop animation linked procedural dialogue systems

• Edit, master, implement, oversee cinematic quality dialogue
• Work closely with external vendors and studios
• Schedule and track assets through the dialogue pipeline
• Support and help direct the localisation processes
• Alongside audio coders, develop dialogue workflow, pipeline, and tools

• Support / mentor junior team members.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Passionate about dialogue with a desire to stand out against the competition
• Proven dialogue skills for game or linear formats
• Team player, positive and encouraging with great communication skills

• Self-managing, mature approach to ownership and delivery
• Skilled sound recordist (studio and in the field)
• Knowledge of Reaper, plugins and other software
• Experience in multi-channel formats.
