Your Mission

Sledgehammer Games is looking for an experienced Dialogue Director to lead the dialogue team and drive quality for our next AAA title. You will be responsible for assisting with casting, collaborating with production on pipeline and schedules and directing talent in the booth during recording sessions. You will be involved in every aspect of dialog content development alongside one of the most passionate and experienced audio teams in the industry.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

o Lead and direct talent in booth during recording sessions

o Lead dialogue team through all phases of production including script writing, casting, directing, recording

o Work with internal and external partners for casting and localization

o Collaborate with external vendors and outsourcing partners for recording and editorial

o Collaborate with production to build dialog budgets, schedules, pipelines and project standards

o Collaborate with Narrative team to create and manage scripts

o Drive dialog quality from recording session performances through editing and implementation

Player Profile

Experience

o Extensive experience directing talent on major titles

o 5+ years of professional dialog experience or minimum 4 shipped AAA titles in a sound leadership role

Knowledge & Skills

o Fluent in all phases of dialog production and post production, preferably with interactive audio

o Understanding of microphone and recording hardware use for different dialog recording objectives (voice over, ADR, motion capture, etc.)

o Knowledge and familiarity with scripting languages (LUA, Python, etc.)

o Experienced & professional use of professional audio tools (such as ProTools, Reaper, SoundForge, etc.), and power-user of at least one.

o Solid understanding of sound fundamentals and voice processing.

Key Attributes

o Demonstrated creative and technical achievements in dialog production.

o Very strong organizational and project management skills
