Motive Montreal is looking for an experienced Narrative Development Manager to join us in the early stages of an exciting new project where story plays a central role. The Development Manager will report to the Development Director, they will collaborate direclty with the creative leadership and external partners to provide rich story-driven content. As a Development Manager, you will ensure that project deliverables are on time, to quality, and within budget.
Responsibilities :
- Develop working relationships with immediate team and other external partner teams that have dependencies or an impact on the completion of the project.
- Communicate with the project team and coordinate requirements with external partners.
- Provide updates to department leadership and escalating issues and concerns.
- Mitigate risk for assigned scope whilst partnering with our production team, to manage scope and quality.
- Work with department leadership in the creation of written status/risk reports for the project.
- Manage a project budget, determine task requirements, and assign tasks to team resources.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years narrative project management
- Experience with narrative pipeline and external team requirements (Pcap, Mocap)
- Education requirement University degree Bachelors or equivalent professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience in different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
