Position Summary

As a member of our client success team, you will work with game developers in supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and launching of a variety of games online features. You will partner with the account managers, producers, and engineers to ensure the success of the client games.

You care about providing the best support to the game developers, as well as creating the next big AAA online games.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

The Developer Support Engineer is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Support clients to integrate with the complex AccelByte services.
  • Report technical issues to the engineering team and verify subsequent fixes.
  • Generate new ideas to improve client experience and enrich the AccelByte arsenal.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from clients to drive new features and improvements.
  • Provide support to clients who are experiencing technical issues.
  • Provide onboarding service to new clients
  • Perform any other design-related duties as required

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Proven client service experience
  • Passion for building great products with examples of successful product launches
  • Critical thinking paired with strong execution
  • Self-motivated
  • Solid troubleshooting skill
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer science and engineering background, with software development experience being an asset.
  • Prior experience with Game Engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity with C++/C# programming
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience working on account management systems, e-commerce & data analytics platforms, as well as cloud and server providers
  • Prior experience with Scrum and Agile and AAA game experience
  • Flexibility in working with people with different timezones
