The opportunity:
Unity’s Multiplayer team are looking for a Developer Support Engineer to assist with growing the product and user community of Unity’s Netcode for GameObjects technology through education and support.
We will have a key role within the community passionate about the Multiplayer technology stack from networking and tools, samples games and tutorials. We want to empower the community!
Interacting with the most creative studios using groundbreaking Unity. You’ll gain insights into the latest developments and discuss exciting new projects. An excellent opportunity to learn and help creators develop outstanding Multiplayer experiences.
An opportunity to prototype, experiment and learn with our networking stack to better support the community, as well as our sample games, documentation, product roadmap and more.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting users in building multiplayer games - encouraging the growth of the Multiplayer community through Discord and Forums.
- Meet with enterprise customers and discuss networking solutions for their titles.
- Provide customer feedback to internal engineering and product teams.
- Becomes familiar with product code base and architecture.
- Prototype networking gameplay systems to assist internal teams and external users.
What we're looking for
- C# Scripting.
- You have experience with Gameplay Programming.
- Community facing with a passion for solving customer problems.
- Collaborative and team skills.
You might also have
- Experience with Unity and/or other Game Engines.
- Experience developing a Multiplayer game.
