As a Developer Research Manager on the Developer Relations team, you will be joining a rapidly growing organization that enables the developers' success on our platform through various feedback-focused initiatives. You will be the liaison between our Developer, Product and Engineering Teams. You will support, build, and design new systems to collect, analyze and implement developer feedback to further support our community of creators. You will work directly with Roblox developers and the Developer Insights team to leverage feedback and trends to outline developers' needs on the platform.
You Will:
- Identify and investigate trends in feedback to better understand pain points felt by our developer community
- Gather, catalog and produce reports on sentiment to inform other teams as they plan their features
- Advocate for solutions that meet developers' needs
- Dive deep with our developer community to ensure we have a complete understanding of their feedback
- Balance the needs of business objectives, developers, and Roblox players with the long-term vision of Roblox
- Present to our highly engaged and visionary management and community
- Support systems to help celebrate and elevate developers worldwide on the Roblox platform
You Have:
- 3+ years of research, insight or feedback management and analysis experience
- Passionate about the developer experience, driving towards delivering the best developer experience to our developer community
- Data-driven, comfortable with handling large amounts of data, both qualitative and quantitative, and identifying trends within it
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple programs while balancing the company's mission
- Excellent partnership and communication skills
- Organization! Understanding that the best way to build something great is to coordinate the work of many people
- Ability to inspire others, passionate about developer success and being a role model to up-and-coming developers
- Own it; you are self-directed, with the ability to define your work and processes
- Interest in 3D creation, games, AR/VR, online communities is a plus
- Degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, data science, design, finance, business or economics
