Developer Relations Lead

We are looking for a Developer Relations team member to drive the success of Lightship, Niantic’s AR developer platform. You will identify, onboard, and handle partners for our platform, guiding your partners throughout their app development lifecycle. You will provide important consultation to your partners on everything from SDK adoption to feature roadmap and on through to launch marketing and live-service operation. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Niantic engineering, marketing, community, and analytics teams to achieve our company's goals and those of our developer partners. Responsibilities

• Identify high-potential developers and onboard them, while forging an enduring relationship built on mutual confidence and credibility. Support key partners by connecting them to the full range of our products, features, and services.
• Serve as a bi-directional ambassador between Niantic and the developer ecosystem — ensuring that Niantic is building what developers need, while also ensuring alignment between developers and the platform’s objectives.
• Lead cross-functionally within Niantic to align our teams around developer success. Work closely with internal teams to tackle technical challenges and unlock platform opportunities for partners.
• Help partners optimize their live services, advising them on analytics, engagement and monetization strategies.
• Evangelize our platform to encourage and engage the next generation of world-changing AR app developers.

Qualifications

• Passion for Niantic's mission!
• 5+ years of relevant job experience (e.g. partner management, platform developer relations) handling successful app developers.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, with a track record of aligning internal teams in support of developers.
• BA/BS degree in law, business, communications, marketing, or related area of study (or equivalent practical experience).
• Data driven, and strategic problem solver. Adaptive to change and has the ability to learn quickly.
• Project management capability, with experience influencing development schedules and features/roadmaps.
• Strong familiarity/knowledge of our games, our community, and our mission are helpful.
