DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer, Perception Data

Job Description

As part of the Magic Leap Perception Data team you will work closely with our data and perception engineers to develop data pipelines and support our existing tools for data generation and processing. Th infrastructure that you will develop and support will directly impact how we build our data and algorithms.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing cloud infrastructure and develop strategies to improve it
• Maintain existing applications and data pipelines and make sure issues resolved in a timely manner
• Work with frontend/backend developers to incorporate continuous integration practices
• Support multiple time zones including Europe, Asia and America

Qualifications:

• Expertise building and maintaining distributed data processing systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Helm, etc
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud
• Advanced shell scripting
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Good understanding of best practices in cloud security and storing sensitive data

Education

• M.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
